BA Cup does NOT allow acts of aggression or discrimination of any kind (verbal or physical). Those actions will result in an automatic expulsion from the tournament.
1) Responsibilities of each coach and team representative:
Coaches and team representatives are responsible for the behavior of the team, players, staff, parents/family members/guests, on and off the field, in all tournament facilities (hotels, fields and surrounding areas, transportation, restaurants, recreational areas, etc.) used by the organization during the tournament.
There must be respect towards the tournament rules, the referees, players, overseers, scouts, the organizing staff and public in general.
The referees and overseers will address coaches and team representatives in case there is any improper conduct by players, coaching staff, or the team´s guests/public. Individuals may be warned, yellow carded, red carded or expelled for any of the aforementioned reasons. The coach/team representative has the right to appeal to the disciplinary committee if he/she does not agree with the decision made by the referee and organizing staff. The appeal must be made immediately after the game, signed and turned in to the organizing committee.

2) Disciplinary sanctions:
Points reduction and expulsions from the event for unruly behavior.
A) For the coaching staff:
2-point reduction from the ranking table for an expulsion of any member of the coaching staff because of exaggerated complaints, repeated claims, or any other disrespectful conduct seen by the referees or members of the organizing committee.
B) Participating teams:
▪ 5 yellow cards in a match = 1 point less in the ranking table. After the 5th card, one point will be subtracted for each additional yellow card.
▪ Red card: Equals two yellow cards.
Notes:
C) General public:
After a second warning to the coaching staff regarding inappropriate conduct from the public, the referee – or the organizing committee – can terminate the game. The Disciplinary Committee will determine, based on the reports from the organizing committee, how the team will be sanctioned or expelled from the tournament.
If the public goes onto the field in an uproar or fight, the corresponding team and fans will be immediately expelled from the cup.
NOTE: Any person behaving in a disrespectful manner will be expelled from the event.
D) For the players:
NOTE: A player who is sent off after receiving TWO YELLOW CARDS will be eligible to participate in the next game.
A player who was sent off and is sent off again in the next game will automatically be suspended for one (1) game or more, depending on the severity of the case.
Article 1
Motives by which a player may be suspended for 1 (one) game/date.
A) A player who abandons the field in protest of a call by the referee, or intentionally disturbs the normal development of a match.
B) A player who enters or exits the field without the referee´s authorization.
C) A player who disregards a call made by the referee, delays its execution, or delays the development of the game.
D) A player who, with gestures or attitudes, causes the referee to make mistakes or if a player fakes injuries.
E) A player is expelled because of a violent action, or a double yellow card.
Article 2
Motives by which a player will be suspended for 2 (two) or 3 (three) games/dates.
A) A player who protests the referee´s calls with excessive body language towards the referee or any of the assistants.
B) A player who threatens, offends, insults, verbally or physically harms the referee or any of the assistants.
C) Aggression, insult, offense or any other misbehavior towards the referee or the assistants off the field will be punished as if it were within the field.
D) A player who physically attacks, or by any other means such as spitting, throwing a ball with violent intent. If the aggression happens far away or when the ball is out of play, it will be considered even more serious.
E) A player is expelled for verbal aggression or who verbally provokes, makes rude gestures towards a rival or a team member.
Article 3
Disruptive acts by the general public.
A) Obscene gestures, insults, threats, will be a 4 (four) game suspension.
B) Deliberately spitting at someone or throwing objects: Definitive expulsion from the cup.
C) Physical aggression: Definitive expulsion from the cup.
Article 4
If a player is reported by the referee having committed an infraction to the above rules, even if the player was not yellow or red carded during the game, he/she will be sanctioned as if it had happened during the match.
Article 5
It is within the Disciplinary Committee’s power to sanction the team captain in those situations where violence is involved and the referee cannot detect who started the disturbance. When a captain is suspended, the Disciplinary Committee may not allow the player to be the captain in the future.
Article 6 All unforeseen infractions not listed in these disciplinary rules, will be treated equally to a similar infraction stated above.
Article 7
When the Disciplinary Committee considers it necessary, it can delegate responsibilities to the BA Cup organizing committee. In those situations, where there is individual or collective aggression, the organizing committee will be able to reprimand accordingly.
E) Coaches:
Article 8
Must respect these rules, the referees, players and general public.
Article 9
Will be responsible for his/her own behavior, and that of the players, the rest of the coaching staff and the team´s supporters.
Article 10
The referees will address the coach if there is improper conduct from the players, coaching staff or the general public.
Article 11
The referee can warn or expel the coach in case of improper conduct.
F) The general public
Article 12
Must be respectful of the rules, the referee, assistants, organizing committee, players and rival supporters.
Article 13
The referee and overseers are authorized to stop the game if they identify someone in the public who displays improper conduct or misbehavior (shouting, improper chanting). These authorities are able to expel the person from the premises. Before expulsion, the coaches and organizing committee will be notified.
BA Cup tournaments are recreational, educational, and formative, with the objective of promoting sport and healthy competition.
