Mandatory requirements:

  • Jerseys – bring 2 sets or 1 jersey and bibs.
  • Two types of cleats – one pair for natural grass fields, and one for synthetic turf fields. See rules.
  • Shin guards.
  • Balls: each team is required to bring their own balls for warm up and practice. BA Cup provides game balls.
  • Team and/or country flag and artifacts for opening ceremony and/or exchange with other teams.
  • Change of clothes during the day.
  • Towel for locker rooms at fields.
  • Warm clothing, waterproof jacket, windbreaker.
  • Camera.
  • Electrical adaptors.
  • Pencil and notebook for the seminars and clinics.
  • Sunscreen.
  • Original Passport or ID as well as a photocopy.
  • Tournament regulations and rules signed by coaches.
  • ID bracelet – each person who contracts a BA Cup package is required to wear a bracelet at all times in order to access the transportation, meals, and special activities.

All games, events and soccer clinics, will take place at the GEBA Club facility at Av. Figueroa Alcorta 5575, (Please check the map on the following page. Access to the club is in the following street: Julio Argentino Noble, ex calle Guerrico) Ciudad de Buenos Aires.

By Public Transport from DOWNTOWN to GEBA
Buses numbers 34, 37, 130, 160 go straight to the club. The following webpage: mapa.buenosaires.gov.ar allows you to put your address and search for the best way on how to arrive to GEBA.

By Taxi
We recommend using Radio Taxi (5411-5280-0000 or 5411-4374-6666) or through the following app: CABIFY. Please let the driver know the entrance to GEBA is in Figueroa Alcorta 5575 and Julio Argentino Noble street. At that spot you´ll be able to see the BA Cup welcoming staff.

By BA CUP Official Transport
For those teams which hired the official BA Cup transport service, there will be meeting points to take the buses and minibuses to leave from your hotel and arrive at the GEBA facility. And the same applies for the return trip when you find it convenient.

Accomodation

The teams that contracted the BA Cup packages they will stay in one of tournament’s oficial hotels.

SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES

We offer a variety of services for players and family members to be comfortable during the cup and you can have the best memories from BA Cup!

Food: We offer two restaurants and many kiosks for any food related needs you may have. Please let us know if you would like to pre order your meals through BA Cup benefits. The teams that chose the packages that include dinner will have their meals in designated restaurants near your hotel. Lunch is served in the restaurants located in GEBA or in a restaurant near the hotel. Each menu includes a main meal, side orders drinks and dessert.

Medical facilities: We have doctors and an ambulance ready next to the fields during the games of the cup.
Photographs: Our team of photographers will be present to capture your best moments in action during the cup. We will upload all pictures in our social media.

BA Cup official merchandise: Don´t miss the opportunity of taking exclusive BA Cup products. Visit our Information stand and choose from a wide variety of t-shirts, jerseys, jackets, gloves, key chains, and much more.

Buenos Aires tours: You have the chance of doing a city tour, and enjoy a tour to the River Plate stadium and the Boca Juniors museum, as well as enjoy a Tango show and a tour in the Tigre area. During the tournament an official stand will be ready to welcome you and cover all your tourist needs in your free time.

ACTIVITIES

RIVER PLATE STADIUM AND MUSEUM TOUR: The stadiums open their doors to us to take a tour of the museum to learn about their impressive history as one of the most important clubs in the world. Contact us at info@ba-cup.com or visit the information booth to buy your ticket at a preferential price.

BA Cup Radio Online: For all those who cannot attend the cup but who cheer on their team from afar, you can follow them through our Radio! From Momday to Friday we will broadcast from our sports complex from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (Argentina time). On Friday we will follow the cup finals live. Enjoy and live the BA Cup passion regardless of the distance!

BA Cup Official Anthem:

Like every international cup that has its official song for its players and fans, we couldn’t leave them without one too!

Hotel Check-in: Hotel check-in at the hotels is at 3 p.m. If there are rooms available at the time of the team´s arrival you can proceed with an early check-in. That is confirmed at the arrival time at the hotel.

Recreational activities: The tournament has a Recreational Activities sector where teams will find foosball tables, soccer tennis courts, small games, and many more activities. There are also activities for coaches and parents. The sector is at your disposal every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone must bring their boots, desire to have fun and make new friendships with the other teams.

Additional Information

BA Cup raffle: We offer several opportunities to raise funds that will help players, teams and fans to cover the cost of their expenses! One of those opportunities is with the BA Cup raffle: We give away a trip for 2 passengers for 5 nights in Buenos Aires or Salta in Argentina to be used within the next two years. The raffle winner is selected in the opening ceremony every July. BA Cup is committed for you to have an unforgettable experience. Tips: It is customary to give a 10% in tips at restaurants but it is not mandatory. You do not need to tip in taxis.

Argentine Currency: We recommend you not to exchange currencies in the street. You should do it in your country or in our currency exchange office inside the tournament´s facility. Please check daily currency exchange rates for more information. Currency exchange companies accept a few currencies such as the US dollars and Argentine Pesos. On a regular day, we recommend you to have, at least, 70.000 Argentine Pesos available to take a taxi and have a meal.

Safety: Buenos Aires is a safe city. The only recommendation we give you is not to leave valuable assets on sight, such as bags, cellphones, which could be taken away or lost. The tournament´s facility is private and closed to the general public. Everyone who is inside has to pay to attend the tournament. BA Cup is not responsible for any type of theft or lost items.

Entrance to GEBA: Once again, collaborating with the NGO FUNDAGOL, we will charge guests for a ticket to enter the facility. All funds will be donated to Fundación Gol to help underprivileged players develop their soccer skills in a safe environment.

Transport from the airport: We recommend for you to use official public transports available within the airport (EZEIZA). For those that have a service package with BA Cup, round trip transportation from and to the airport is included in the service/package. Please look for the guides with the BA Cup signs to identify our staff waiting for your arrival.

Weather: During the winter, the month of July is a cold one with temperatures that go from 4° to 20°, there may be additional wind, some drizzle, so it is necessary to have jackets and scarves/hats.
